find还可接以动词不定式或“(to be+) adj./v -ed/ v -ing/ prep.
I had been finding a dictionary before you came.
正 I had been looking for a dictionary before you came.
正 I had been trying to find a dictionary before you came.
After making observations for a week,Sam found why the shirt factory was so inefficient.
正 After making observations for a week,Sam found out why the shirt factory was so inefficient.
Jack found very difficult to explain his views to others.
正 Jack found it very difficult to explain his views to others.

She found no one could answer the question.
