英英释义

Turbocharger

A turbocharger, or turbo (colloquialism), from the Greek \"τύρβη\"(\"turbulence\") is a turbine driven forced induction device used to allow more power to be produced by an engine of a given size. A turbocharged engine can be more powerful and efficient than a naturally aspirated engine because the turbine forces more air, and proportionately more fuel, into the combustion chamber than atmospheric pressure alone.

双语例句

用作名词(n.)The engine is equipped with one turbocharger per cylinder bank.引擎被装备每气缸焖火一个涡轮增压器。Further features of this equally outstanding engine are common-rail fuel injection and a VTG turbocharger.这同样进一步突出特点是发动机的共轨燃油喷射和涡轮增压器卵黄。
